New Delhi, Feb. 18 -- German sportswear brand Puma on Monday announced that it has appointed World Boxing Champion Mary Kom as its new brand ambassador. Kom, who won a record sixth World Boxing Championship in New Delhi in November last year, has signed a two-year deal with the brand. With this, the boxer is now Puma India's new ambassador for their women's training category and shall represent the brand in marketing campaigns in the country.

The association has been facilitated by IOS Sports and Entertainment Pvt Ltd., which exclusively represents Mary Kom.
