KUALA LUMPUR, Oct. 2 -- Parts of several selected roads in the capital will be temporarily closed in conjunction with the Deepavali Bazaar 2025 from September 29 to October 19.
In a statement today, Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) said the closures were to ensure smooth operations and the safety of visitors throughout the bazaar, according to Harian Metro.
"The affected roads include Jalan Bonus 6 (Jalan Masjid India), Jalan Rakyat (Brickfields), Jalan Tun Sambanthan (in front of Sentral Suites and Little India, Brickfields), as well as Lorong Chan Ah Tong.
"These closures will facilitate the management and smooth running of the Deepavali Bazaar 2025, while creating a lively and safe festive atmosphere for visitors and traders," it said....
