KUALA LUMPUR, Oct. 2 -- The Land Public Transport Agency (APAD) has revoked the operating licence of a lorry company involved in a fatal accident at the Bukit Kajang Toll Plaza on the SILK Highway last week, which left a baby dead and seven others injured.
In a statement today, APAD said investigations revealed that the company, LDT Metal Trading, had failed to install a Global Positioning System (GPS) device on its licensed commercial vehicle and neglected the safety of other road users.
"Following the findings, APAD has exercised its powers under Section 62 of the Land Public Transport Act 2010 to revoke the operator's licence of LDT Metal Trading effective October 2, 2025.
