New Delhi, Sept. 17 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the National Logistics Policy (NLP) today at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.

The upcoming National Logistics Policy is a comprehensive effort to address issues of high cost and inefficiency by laying down an overarching interdisciplinary, cross-sectoral and multi-jurisdictional framework for the development of the entire logistics ecosystem.

This will help improve the competitiveness of Indian goods in domestic and export markets. It will also help in increasing employment opportunities.

The central government since 2014 has put a lot of emphasis on improving both Ease of Doing Business and Ease of Living.
