Afghanistan, Sept. 13 -- Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Martin Griffiths said that the Taliban have given the verbal guarantee, they are asking for a written guarantee from the Taliban for humanitarian affairs, the safety of female employees, and freedom of work.

Under-Secretary-General said that their recent visit with the Taliban's officials was focused on women's rights in Afghanistan and added that the letter is expected to be given on Monday, September 13.
