Afghanistan, Sept. 2 -- The UN's OCHA has allocated $5 million to provide emergency shelter, food, and medical aid to survivors of the devastating earthquake in eastern Afghanistan.
The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has allocated $5 million from the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund to address the immediate needs of those affected by the recent earthquake in eastern Afghanistan.
The funds will support the provision of emergency shelter, food, and medical services to families impacted by the disaster. Despite challenges in accessing affected areas, humanitarian teams are working diligently to deliver aid to survivors.
