Afghanistan, Jan. 30 -- Pakistan's military says its forces killed 41 militants during two separate security operations in the southwestern province of Balochistan, one of the country's most volatile regions.

In a statement issued on Friday, the army said 31 militants were killed in Harnai district, while 11 others died during a separate operation in Panjgur district. Security forces also seized weapons, ammunition, and cash allegedly stolen from a bank in Panjgur.

The military identified the militants as members of what it calls "Fitna Khawarij" and "Fitna Hindustan," terms used by Pakistani authorities to describe the Pakistani Taliban (TTP) and the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), respectively.
