Afghan force repel coordinated Taliban attack in Nangarhar: 201st Silab Corps
Afghanistan, July 6 -- The Afghan forces repelled a coordinated attack by Taliban militants in eastern Nangarhar province.
The 201st Silab Corps in a statement said the Taliban militants launched a coordinated attack on security posts of the 1st Brigade of Silab Corps in Mohmand Dara.
The statement further added that the Taliban militants launched the attack at around 1:00 pm local time on Friday.
However, the 201st Silab Corps said the security forces effectively responded to the attack and killed 7 Taliban militants.
Furthermore, the 201st Silab Corps said the security forces als wounded 4 Taliban militants during the clash.
