Sopore, Nov. 30 -- Sopore Police on Sunday accorded a warm and respectful farewell to a retiring officer who superannuated after completing an outstanding 38 years of service in the Jammu and Kashmir Police.

The farewell function was held at District Police Lines (DPL) Sopore, where SSP Sopore along with senior officers highlighted the officer's long, disciplined, and dedicated career. As a mark of respect and recognition, mementoes were presented to the retiring officer. He was serving as the Line Officer at DPL Sopore at the time of his retirement.
