Srinagar, Sept. 3 -- Amid rising water levels in the Jhelum River, MLA Habba Kadal Shameema Firdous on Tuesday visited her constituency to review the situation and take stock of preventive measures.
Acting on the directions of the Hon'ble Chief Minister, Firdous instructed the irrigation department to keep sufficient sandbags and other essential materials ready to minimize the impact of any possible flooding.
