Srinagar, Jan. 4 -- A 16 -year old boy was injured in Grande blast at Kawdara area of old Srinagar on Saturday.

Reports said the Grenade was lobbed at the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel who were deployed in the area and two of their vehicles were also damaged in the blast.

The injured boy has been identified as Azhar Ahmad of Kawdara area of Srinagar. He was taken to SMSH hospital for treatment where his condition is stated to be stable.

Locals alleged that the CRPF personnel later broke glasses of many vehicles parked near the site the blast.

However the CRPF refused the allegations and said the vehicles were damaged due to grenade blast.
