Srinagar, Oct. 19 -- The Border Security Force (BSF) and the Indian Army have increased vigilance along the International Border and the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir ahead of the Diwali celebrations.
Officials told the Kashmir News Service (KNS), that security measures have been stepped up to ensure the safety of residents and to maintain border stability during the festival period.
"National security is our Diwali. While citizens prepare for the festival, our focus remains on maintaining vigilance along the International Border and the LoC. We are conducting night patrolling and constant monitoring to ensure that no incident disrupts peace in border areas," they said.
