Nubra, May 31 -- Administrative Secretary of the Agriculture and Horticulture Department, UT Ladakh Bhupesh Chaudhary IAS, visited the villages of Thang, Turtuk, and Tyakshi on the second day of his tour in Nubra Valley.

During his visit to Tyakshi, the Secretary interacted with local villagers and listened to their concerns, particularly regarding the increasing infestation of brown tail moths affecting their crops. He also inspected the affected crop sites to assess the extent of the damage.

In Thang village, he interacted and productive discussion with a progressive farmer and visited their agricultural and horticultural fields. He appreciated the innovative practices being adopted at the local level.
