JAMMU, Jan. 22 -- Jammu and Kashmir Lok Bhavan on Tuesday celebrated the Statehood Day of Tripura, Manipur and Meghalaya at Jammu, with a cultural evening highlighting the spirit of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.

The event brought together students, security personnel and members of the communities from Tripura, Manipur and Meghalaya residing in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

Addressing the gathering, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha extended greetings to the people of the three northeastern states and paid tribute to their iconic personalities, recalling their contribution to nation-building.
