Srinagar, Nov. 20 -- Police have arrested six drug peddlers in Srinagar, Kulgam and Kupwara and recovered contraband substances from their possession, a police spokesperson informed Tuesday.
He said at Habakadal Chowk, one Sameer Majeed Khan, son of Late Abdul Majeed Khan, resident of Dadi Kadal Tankipora Srinagar, was arrested after 15 grams of heroin was recovered from his possession.
At Doodh Ganga Bund Chanapora, one Jan Manzoor Bhat, son of Manzoor Ahmad Bhat of Azad Basti Natipora was arrested and five grams of contraband brown sugar recovered from his possession, while . one Mohsin Abass Lone, son of Mohammad Abass Lone of Wazir Bagh was arrested from KursooAramwari Bund when 8 grams of brown sugar was recovered from him.
