Srinagar, Jan. 11 -- Security forces on Monday claimed to have arrested two 'militant associates' from Awantipora in south-Kashmir's Pulwama district.

Police along with 42 RR & 130 Bn CRPF arrested two 'militant associates' of proscribed outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad from Awantipora area. news agency GNS reported.

The duo as maintained in the handout are "involved in providing shelter, support, logistics, as well as in transporting of arms/ammunition of the militants in Awantipora & Tral area and passing on sensitive information to the militants of proscribed outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad."
