REQUEST FROM THE HOKKAIDO GOVERNMENT AND THE LIAISON COUNCIL OF MUNICIPALITIES IN NEMURO SUBPREFECTURE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF REGIONS NEAR THE NORTHERN TERRITORIES

TOKYO, Dec. 1 -- Prime Minister and His Cabinet issued the following information:

On December 1, 2025, Prime Minister Takaichi received a request from the Hokkaido Government and the Liaison Council of Municipalities in Nemuro Subprefecture for the Development of Regions near the Northern Territories, at the Prime Minister's Office.
