MEETING BETWEEN WIPO DIRECTOR GENERAL TANG AND MR. YAMAMOTO, THE JAPAN AMBASSADOR OF WIPO GREEN IN THE PRESENCE OF JPO COMMISSIONER ONO

TOKYO, Feb. 14 -- Japan Patent Office issued the following press release:

On Wednesday, February 12, a meeting was held between Mr. Daren Tang, Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and Mr. YAMAMOTO Masafumi, Senior Associate Officer at Daikin Industries, Ltd., who has been appointed as the Japan Ambassador of WIPO GREEN, in the presence of representatives from the Japan Intellectual Property Association (JIPA) and the Japan Patent Office (JPO).

During the meeting, they both recognized the importance of collaboration on WIPO GREEN between the Japanese industrial sector and WIPO. They also exchanged views on cooperation related to WIPO GREEN at the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.
