The Ministry of Women and Child Development today hosted a special felicitation ceremony in honour of the Indian Women's Cricket Team for the Blind for their extraordinary achievement in winning the inaugural T20 World Cup held in November 2025. Union Minister for Women & Child Development, Smt. Annpurna Devi, felicitated the players and congratulated them for their historic victory and inspirational journeys.
Smt. Meenakshi Lekhi, former Union Minister of State for External Affairs, and serving as the Chairperson of the World Organizing Committee for the SBI 1st Women's T20 World Cup Cricket for the Blind, also graced the occasion.
