In a major push toward reclaiming one of Delhi's largest landfill sites, the Bhalswa dumpsite is now set for complete remediation. As the dynamic 'Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) 2025' campaign kicked off, Union Minister Shri Manohar Lal led the national launch from Delhi's Bhalswa Dumpsite - adopting the site for its remediation and transformation into a cleaner, more sustainable urban space. Dating back to 1994, this long-standing dumpsite now extends across 70 acres of land. Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) in collaboration with Delhi Development Authority (DDA) will speed up the remediation of the legacy dumpsite and facilitate the establishment of new processing...
