India, Sept. 22 -- The Government of India issued the following news release:
THDC India Limited successfully commenced the Commercial Operation of the 2nd Unit (660 MW) of the (2x660 MW) Khurja Super Thermal Power Project in Khurja, Uttar Pradesh. The momentous occasion was graced by Shri Manohar Lal, Hon'ble Union Minister of Power, Housing & Urban Affairs, Government of India who officially inaugurated the commercial operation of the 2nd Unit through virtual mode. Shri A. K. Sharma, Hon'ble Minister of Energy & Urban Development, Govt. of UP and Shri Narendra Bhooshan (IAS), Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Energy & Renewable Energy, Govt. of UP along with other Officials were also present during the event via virtual mode.
