JABALPUR, India, Sept. 2 -- Madhya Pradesh High Court issued the following judgment/order on Aug. 4:
Petitioner has filed the subject petition titled as Aam Janta i.e. General Public.
A petition in an ambiguous name would not be maintainable, in any case if petitioner wanted to file a public interest litigation he had to file the same in his own name not as Aam Janta through Shri Ramakant Mishra.
The contention of the petitioner is that there is certain encroachment on a Government road and no action has been taken. Annexure P/6 annexed to the document shows that a Panchnama report has been prepared on 28.05.2025 noticing encroachment.
Since the authorities are already taking action, we are not inclined to entertain the subject petition...
