MUMBAI, India, May 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202331075794 A) filed by Metal & Steel Factory, Ishapore, West Bengal, on Nov. 6, 2023, for 'process for manufacturing of steel forgings for lhbrailway axle using radial forging centering machine.'
Inventor(s) include M. K. Sarma.
The application for the patent was published on May 9, under issue no. 19/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to the manufacturing process of steel forgings for LHB Railway Axle using Radial Forging centering machine, more precisely, it discloses the development of a centering machine essentially required for further machining of railway axle."
