MUMBAI, India, May 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202321073420 A) filed by Tata Motors Limited, Maharashtra, on Oct. 27, 2023, for 'an anti-theft system for a spare wheel of a vehicle.'
Inventor(s) include Pranita Deshpande; and Vrushali Bhadlikar.
The application for the patent was published on May 2, under issue no. 18/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Present disclosure discloses an anti-theft system (100) for a spare wheel (10) of a vehicle. The system includes at least two actuators (2) connected to a chassis (1) and each actuator of the at least two actuators (2) positioned adjacent to opposite surfaces of a spare wheel (10) supported by the chassis (...
