Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'A Catalyst For Selective Production Of 5-Hydroxymethylfurfural [hmf] And A Method Of Preparation Thereof' Filed by Council Of Scientific And Industrial Research

MUMBAI, India, May 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311074006 A) filed by Council Of Scientific And Industrial Research, New Delhi, on Oct. 30, 2023, for 'a catalyst for selective production of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural [hmf] and a method of preparation thereof.'

Inventor(s) include Lakhya Jyoti Konwar; and Ganesh Govind Kadam.

The application for the patent was published on May 2, under issue no. 18/2025.
