HIGH COURT OF BOMBAY AT GOA ISSUES ORDER ON JAFAR BASUR THR NEXT FRIEND HASAN BASUR (PRESENTLY IN JUDICIAL CUSTODY AT CENTRAL JAIL) V/S POLICE INSPECTOR FATORDA POLICE STATION AND ANR

GOA, India, Feb. 15 -- The High Court of Bombay at Goa issued the following order on Jan. 16:

1. Heard Mr Desa, learned counsel for the applicant and Mr S. G. Bhobe, learned Public Prosecutor for the respondents.

2. Applicants were placed under arrest in Crime No. 78/2023 registered at Fatorda Police Station for the offences punishable under Sections 307, 153-A, 356, 506(ii), 143, 144, 147, 148 read with 149 of IPC on 17.12.2023, except the applicant by name Jafar Basur, who was placed under arrest on 4.1.2024.
