India, Nov. 7 -- US President Donald Trump on Thursday announced that Kazakhstan will join the Abraham Accords, calling it "a major step forward in building bridges across the world."

Trump made the announcement following a phone call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev."Kazakhstan is the first country of my second term to join the Abraham Accords, the first of many," Trump said in a post on Truth Social. "This is a major step forward in building bridges across the world. More nations are lining up to embrace peace and prosperity through the Abraham Accords. We will soon announce a signing ceremony."
