India, Feb. 24 -- Rachin Ravindra played a responsible knock of 112 runs to pull New Zealand out of a tough situation and beat Bangladesh by five wickets in a Champions Trophy match here on Monday.

After restricting Bangladesh to 236 runs for the loss of nine wickets, New Zealand lost quick wickets early in the innings but slowly recovered by riding on Ravindra's knock to reach the winning target of 240 runs by losing five wickets with 23 balls to spare.

New Zealand's win knocked out Pakistan, the hosts of the Champions Trophy, and Bangladesh from the tournament.
