Kolkata/IBNS, Feb. 20 -- Three people surviving a car crash at EM Bypass in Kolkata led to the discovery of lifeless bodies of their family members at their residence in the city's Tangra area, media reports said.

The lifeless bodies were discovered after a sedan- carrying 48-year-old Prasun Dey, 44-year-old Pranay Dey and his son Pratip Dey (14) - crashed into a pillar at 100 km/hr near Avishikta in the wee hours on Wednesday.

The three passengers, who were rushed to a hospital, survived the crash.

Pranay claimed all six family members consumed sedative-laced dessert to die while the three men took the ride to commit suicide.
