India, April 21 -- Local Awami League leaders and activists organised a flash procession in Bangladesh's Khulna area on Sunday, marking the first such event in the region since the fall of the former PM Sheikh Hasina-led regime amid severe protests against her government on August 5, 2024.

The rally was organised by the Khulna District Unit of the Bangladesh Awami League.

Several photographs of the flash procession have now gone viral on social media.

Photos and videos show a group of individuals holding a demonstration at the zero point area, holding a banner featuring images of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Sheikh Hasina, reported Prothom Alo.
