SIDBI Infuses $11 Mn In Stride Ventures, Plans Another $22 Mn In Two Other Funds
India, Nov. 12 -- State-run Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) has committed to invest INR 250 Cr ($33 Mn) in three funds - India SME Investments Fund, Stride Venture and JSW Ventures Trust. "Furthering the Startup India Mission, SIDBI commits additional INR 250 Cr to three Alternative Investment Funds under Fund of Funds for Startups (FFS) of GoI," it had tweeted last week.
Venture debt fund Stride, on Thursday (November 12) announced that it has raised INR 85 Cr ($11 Mn) from the financial institution, which majorly focuses on the development and financing of the MSME sector. The infusion will help the Delhi-based company to maiden Stride Venture India Debt Fund I.
