India, Feb. 24 -- More than a year after departing Peak XV Partners, Anandamoy Roychowdhary has now joined UK-based early-stage investment firm Crane Venture Partners.

In a post on LinkedIn, Roychowdhary said that he was joining Crane Venture Partners as a managing director. He will likely oversee the VC firm's investments in Indian artificial intelligence (AI) and deeptech startups.

"Looking to invest in the special AI and Deep-tech companies of the future in India, Singapore and Australia. We think India (and Indian founders) are going to play an outsized role in the dawn of the AI age and we'd love to partner with the ones who want to build significant and long lasting companies," read Roychowdhary's updated profile.
