Tejashwi hits out at BJP on law & order
PATNA, Jan. 25 -- Leader of the Opposition (LoP) Tejashwi Prasad Yadav on Saturday outlined that there was no level playing field in the Bihar elections last year citing it as a reason for RJD-led INDIA bloc's defeat and also obliquely accusing the ruling NDA of misusing the official machinery and institutions for winning.
Yadav, while speaking at an event to mark the birth anniversary of former CM Karpoori Thakur at the state RJD office, also hit out at PM Narendra Modi and home minister Amit Shah for keeping silent over the recent cases of sexual assault on women, gang rape of a minor and murders.
"The PM used to make frequent visits to Bihar and the home minister had camped in the state during the polls . But now not a single tweet has come from the PM over the recent gang rape of a minor . Incidents of rape, murder and shootings are going on in the state with disconcerting regularity," said Yadav.
He also took swipes at the BJP and other constituents of the NDA for promoting families in key postings....
