DEHRADUN, Jan. 21 -- High-level Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the alleged suicide of a 39-year-old farmer in Udham Singh Nagar has issued formal notices to SSP Udham Singh Nagar, three Sub-Inspectors and one Additional Sub-Inspector for questioning and recording their statements, officials said on Tuesday. Besides police officers, the SIT has also issued notices to the Registrar and Tehsil offices, along with several banks, to obtain documents and records related to the alleged land fraud involving the deceased and associated financial transactions. Officials said the authenticity of the transactions and documents will be verified once the records are received from these institutions.
