Samrat announces Vishnupad Temple corridor
Patna/gaya ji, May 3 -- Bihar CM Samrat Choudhary on Saturday chaired a high-level review meeting in Patna and took stock of the key ongoing urban projects, asking officials to adhere to the deadlines and expedite work.
The CM also conducted an on-spot inspection of the Ganga Path project. He visited Digha, LCT Ghat and Bans Ghat to assess the ongoing works and gave necessary directions to officials for proper beautification and development so that citizens can use it safely and enjoyably.
Meanwhile, on Friday, speaking at a national seminar on 'Religious Harmony in Indian Tradition' in Bodh Gaya, after inaugurating Buddha Purnima celebrations, the CM said the construction of Vishnupad Temple corridor and Bodh Gaya Math corridor would start within one month.
"We are developing an industrial corridor spanning 1,700 acres. A township named 'Magadh' will be established across 22,000 acres." In addition, a museum highlighting India's heritage and local culture would be established in Gaya Ji.
The CM said superior schools would be built, featuring such excellent standards that even the children of ministers and government officials would choose to study in these. He also announced plans to 'liberate' the land belonging to monasteries from encroachment.
Choudhary underlined the need for toning up law and order in the state and asserted that criminals would not be spared. "Our objective is to make Bihar a fear-free state," he said.
