principal of govt school shot dead in bhojpur district
ARA, April 24 -- The principal of a government school, who had gone to relieve himself, was shot dead allegedly by armed criminals in the wasteland of Tulsi Chhapra village in Sinha police station area of Bhojpur early Thursday morning, the police said.
He was allegedly shot twice from close range. One bullet hit his chest on the right side and the other on his left. He died on the spot. Neeraj Kumar Pal, 42, a resident of Tulsi Chhapra village, was the principal of the girls' primary school in Farhada village under Barhara block.
Sadar SDPO-2, Ranjit Kumar Singh, said, "There was a dispute going on between Neeraj Kumar Pal and some people of the village regarding the drain. Apart from this, he had also bought a shop six months ago. There is talk of a dispute regarding that as well."
Police are investigating the case from all angles, he added....
