KATIHAR, March 3 -- Police in Bihar's Katihar district took a 13-year-old boy into custody in connection with a gruesome killing of a 9-year-old girl whose throat-slit body was found in the maize field on Sunday morning, a day after she had gone missing. The delinquent, police said, confessed that he had killed the girl with the help of a trowel commonly known as khurpi and police have recovered the weapon used in slitting the throat of the girl. The girl went missing on Saturday and her body was found in the maize field after a frantic search the next day. "The boy of the same village has been a drug addict and he would often tease her," locals said and claimed he killed the girl after she reported it to his parents....
