Jan Suraaj youth wing president resigns
BUXAR, May 21 -- Former IPS officer Anand Mishra resigned from the post of youth wing president of the Jan Suraaj party's state unit on Tuesday. The resignation was confirmed by Mishra himself in a conversation with HT.
Citing discomfort with the party's working style, Mishra said, "I was unable to adjust to the party's functioning. Thus, I sent my resignation to the state president." He clarified that he has only stepped down from the party post and continues to be a member of the party.
When asked about the possibility of joining the BJP in the future, Mishra remarked, "Politics is a game of possibilities," hinting at potential realignments.
A former IPS officer, Mishra served in Assam and was popularly known as the "Singham of Assam." He was the Superintendent of Police in Lakhimpur district before resigning from service in January 2024. He shifted his focus to social work....
