MADHEPURA, Feb. 3 -- The body of a -20-year-old female student of a government engineering college was found in her room in Bihar's Madhepura on Monday evening. The incident took place at the girls' hostel of BP Mandal Engineering College. The girl was a resident of Muzaffarpur and the second year student of civil engineering. The probe was underway, said the police, adding that no suicide note was found. Madhepura superintendent of police (SP) Sandeep Singh confirmed the incident and said that the police acted on the information of the college principal and later the gate of her hostel room was broken and she was found hanging in the room. "We have started a probe from all possible angles. Forensic experts have started collecting the evidence from the site besides the police have interrogated some of the college students in this regard," the SP said.
