Ranchi, Feb. 5 -- Jharkhand High Court on Wednesday directed Ranchi deputy commissioner Manju Nath Bhajantri to conduct ground verification using revenue maps to demarcate original boundaries of water bodies in the district and identify unauthorised constructions around them, people aware of the development said on Wednesday. The direction came from the bench headed by Chief Justice MS Sonak hearing a PIL. March 26 has been fixed for the next hearing in the matter.
