DARBHANGA, April 18 -- District magistrate (DM) Kaushal Kumar has suspended 128 revenue employees posted across various circle offices of Darbhanga district for allegedly disrupting official work by remaining on strike or collective leave. According to an official press release issued by the District Public Relations Office (DPRO), the suspensions were ordered under Rule 3(1) of the Bihar Government Servants Conduct Rules, 1976, citing misconduct and dereliction of duty. The suspended employees were posted in as many as 18 circle offices, including Sadar Darbhanga, Bahadurpur, Baheri, Hayaghat, Hanuman Nagar, Singhwara, Keoti, Jale, Manigachhi, Tardih, Benipur, Alinagar, Biraul, Gaurabauram, Kiratpur, Ghanshyampur, Kusheshwar Asthan, and Kusheshwar Asthan East. The action follows instructions received from the state revenue and land reforms department.
