President Droupadi Murmu has approved the conferment of President of India's Police Colour award on Bihar Police, Union home ministry communicated this through a letter to the Bihar chief secretary. The President of India's Police Colour, also known as the Nishaan, is the highest national honour bestowed upon a state police force, central armed police force, or police training academy in India for exceptional service, bravery, and professionalism. It is represented by a special flag, worn on the left sleeve of the police uniform.
