BUXAR/ARA, Feb. 20 -- The Bihar State Civil Court Employees' Association on Thursday announced the suspension of its proposed phased agitation following an assurance from the chief justice of the Patna high court that their long-pending service-related grievances would be considered expeditiously. In a statement issued here, the association said the Chief Justice took prompt cognisance of the issues raised by employees and invited representatives for a detailed interaction earlier this week. During the meeting, grievances related to promotion, pay revision, cadre classification and compassionate appointments were discussed.
