PURNEA, Feb. 3 -- Purnea police on Monday busted an organised bike-lifting gang active in the Seemanchal and Kosi regions by arresting six of its members. The gang, operational for the last several years, targeted motorcycles at crowded places and hid them in West Bengal before selling them at throwaway prices, officials said. A press release issued from the office of superintendent of police (SP) Sweety Sahrawat confirmed the arrest of the gang members and seizure of the stolen vehicles. The arrested persons have been identified as Rohit Singh (28) and his brother Varun Singh (25), Ramchandra Yadav (39), Mohammad Sarwar (31), Bhim Yadav (26) and Ravindra Ram (33), all residents of various villages under Baisi police station limits....
