Patna, Jan. 12 -- Dr Suresh Singhvi, associate director, liver transplant surgery and HPB (hepato-pancreato-biliary) surgery department, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, on Sunday said though complex liver and stomach-related diseases were being successfully treated, and liver transplants were being performed successfully in the country, people could get rid of many health problems by adopting a balanced and disciplined daily routine. Sr Singhvi was speaking at a special mega health camp organised at the Jeevak Health Centre of Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) on the eve of National Youth Day, celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, and National Pharmacist Day, in collaboration with Lions Club, Gaya, and jointly by the pharmacy department, DSW Office, NCC, and NSS unit of CUSB "I regularly practices yoga for half an hour every day and has not been seriously ill for the past four decades, nor have I needed any medication," he said advising the young people that a healthy body and mind are essential for achieving success in life, and yoga is very beneficial in this regard. V-C Kameshwar Nath Singh said the camp was organised under CUSB's motto 'Campus for Community', with the aim of motivating the university community and people from the surrounding areas to maintain good health.
