G Noida authority told to develop a park at Lakhnavali waste site
GREATER NOIDA, June 14 -- The Uttar Pradesh solid waste management monitoring committee has directed the Greater Noida authority to develop a park at a site in Lakhnavali village, which was being used as a dump yard in violation of the Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016. The monitoring committee had, in April 2019, imposed a penalty of Rs.2crore to the authority for dumping waste in the 30-acre land reserved for a zoological and botanical park....
