Mumbai, Feb. 3 -- Mumbai were bolstered by the return of captain Shardul Thakur and India opener Yashasvi Jaiswal for their Ranji Trophy quarter-final against Karnataka, to be played here from February 6. One day before the T20 World Cup kicks off at the Wankhede Stadium, the MCA-BKC Ground will host the five-day knockout match between the two star-studded lineups. While Mumbai will have Jaiswal and Sarfaraz Khan, Karnataka feature KL Rahul and Devdutt Padikkal in their batting line-up. Padikkal led his team into the quarters with a blazing century against Punjab in their final group match. Mumbai, despite the draw against Delhi at home, had topped the Elite Group D. This will be Jaiswal's second outing for Mumbai in this Ranji season after he played against Rajasthan in the first round.
