Mumbai, Feb. 2 -- Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, in the Budget 2026-27, proposed seven high-speed corridors connecting major cities, including one between Mumbai and Pune and another between Pune and Hyderabad. Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis said the announcement of the Mumbai-Pune and Pune-Hyderabad high-speed corridors would help in increasing the state's GDP and help the development of regions like Marathwada and western Maharashtra.
