Mumbai, Jan. 29 -- Mumbai were crowned champions of the U-16 Vijay Merchant Trophy after beating Maharashtra on innings lead in the drawn final in Rajkot. Mumbai had piled on 494 in the first innings in response of Maharashtra's 381. On the fourth and final day on Wednesday, Maharashtra scored 203/5, with opener Eknath Devade competing a century. Mumbai's Advait Bhat picked up three wickets.
