JPMC exec sued for sexual harassment
India, May 1 -- Lorna Hajdini, 37, an executive director in JP Morgan Chase & Co's (JPMC) Leveraged Finance division, has been accused of sexually harassing and abusing a junior male Indian employee, as per a lawsuit filed in New York county Supreme Court. In the lawsuit filed on Monday, the top executive is accused of drugging the said employee who preferred to remain anonymous as "John Doe" after he and his family received multiple threats. According to Doe, he was subjected to racial abuse and Hajdini threatened his career when he said no to her advances. In May last year, Doe delivered a written complaint to JPMC detailing what he described as race and gender-based discrimination and harassment, and a pattern of 'severe sexual abuse.'
